Sneakerheads sometimes need a break from all the cool and unique shoes available. Since summer is fast approaching, it’s time to start shopping for sandals and slippers that are more comfortable, especially during the warmer season.
One of the top brands of sandals, Birkenstock, has teamed up with lifestyle brand Kith to come up with a pair of suede slides that is comfortable, cool, and chic. The partnership between Birkenstock and Kith has resulted in a pair of classic Birks silhouette being given a luxury treatment. Of course, both brands know quality, but Kith’s approach to design resulted in this incredible pair of slides with a mix of tan, blue, and black and suede as the primary material.
The slides come with nubuck leather straps, offering a more secure fit. The footbed lining is also suede, so it’s comfortable to wear even for long hours. For $190, it’s an expensive pair of slides, but you are guaranteed ease and comfort. Of course, you can probably spend the same on new shoes, but hey, your feet need to breathe from time to time.
Looking good and stylish is relatively easy these days because there are plenty of options. Shopping can be done quickly and more conveniently as you can do it online. What’s just challenging is finding a pair that can give the right fit, support, and comfort your feet need. Sandals are actually more trendy now, but real comfy pairs are challenging to find.
This Kith and Birkenstock partnership isn’t a first between the two. For Summer 2022, they worked together once more to give the Kyoto silhouette from Birkenstock a refresh. Two colorways are ready: Taupe and Navy/Blazer. The suede sandals feature forefoot overlays and then accentuated with a nubuck leather main strap where the name Kith is embossed. The sandal soles are EVA, which adds shape and comfort to the cork-latex footbed. The Taupe version comes with a light sole, while the Navy Blazer version comes with a black sole.
The Kith for Birkenstock Kyoto Suede is ready in time for summer. Actually, it’s already sold out as of this writing but we don’t doubt Kith and Birkenstock will announce a second release, especially since this is a potential bestseller. More people probably know Birkenstock more, but the name Kith is also popular in the footwear industry.
